Review : SMALL SAUCE PANS DO NOT GET HOT.
I bought this set and the small sauce pan does not activate the induction cooktop so the pan will not heat up. Seller gave a $30 refund and said contact the manufacturer. Well, they are pretty impossible to reach and they are in Spain. I finally heard from the Castey rep in NC and he blamed it on my cooktop, which is brand new and top of the line. All the other pans in the set work fine. The Castey rep offered to replace the pan, but what I received was and even small pan (1 litre) and it TOO did not work. I send the rep an email and have not heard back. My conclusion is that the small pans will not work, but the larger size pans are fine. The glass lids are terrible though because they have a clear glass vacant space under the knob style handle (an area that is flush with the lid) that fills up with water when you wash it or when you are steaming or boiling. The only way to get the water out is to use a screwdriver to loosen the knob and this is a hassle. I no longer use...
