This set is just as advertised. Top quality, stylish, and appears to be of durable, long-lasting material. I oiled down the interiors of the items, as recommended, before using, and was extremely pleased at the uniform heating, nice cooking, and, especially, ease of cleaning. I've had quite a few cook sets, and this set beats them all, hands down. I will heed the recommendation to hand wash....but since they are extremely easy to wash, it's a snap to get them clean in the sink and set aside to air dry in no time. The super monetary savings on this set, allowed me to purchase the 1.25 qt saucepan, 9.50 in grillpan and the 4.25 qt dutch oven to complete the set. Am certain they will perform as well as the pieces I've so far used. Highly recommend -- German quality at its best for the kitchen.
